Who are Gigawatt Industries?

Gigawatt Industries delivers end-to-end EV charging infrastructure across the UK, from design and installation through to ongoing support. We work with businesses, landlords, asset owners, and charge point operators to build reliable, practical charging at workplaces, retail and leisure destinations, and roadside locations, with systems designed to scale as demand grows.

At Gigawatt Industries, our mission is to power the future of sustainable transport by delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality EV charging infrastructure across the UK. We bring together expertise in Independent Connections Provider (ICP) works, civil engineering, and electrical installation to provide end-to-end solutions that enable our clients to transition confidently to electric mobility. We are committed to excellence in project delivery, from grid connection to commissioning, while upholding the highest standards of compliance, safety, and governance. By partnering with landlords, developers, and operators nationwide, we aim to accelerate the UK’s journey to net zero, one charging site at a time.

Our Mission

Our Story

Incorporated in January 2022, Gigawatt Industries was founded with the mission to provide cutting-edge EV charging infrastructure. We hit the ground running, focusing on delivering bespoke solutions tailored to the specific needs of commercial and workplace projects.

January 2022

Within months of launching, we secured our first major commercial contract. This project marked the beginning of our journey as a key player in the UK’s electric vehicle charging sector.

April 2022

As demand for EV charging infrastructure grew, so did Gigawatt Industries. By September 2022, we had expanded our operations nationwide, delivering turnkey EV charging solutions to businesses and organisations across the UK mainland.

September 2022

In July 2023, we expanded our capabilities further, integrating civil engineering and groundworks into our core services. This allowed us to offer fully in-house solutions, from the ground up, ensuring every project runs smoothly from design through to commissioning.

July 2023

In January 2024, we moved into our new, larger headquarters to support the next stage of our growth. As the business expanded, we needed a bigger space that better reflected our scale and gave our team the room to keep building.

January 2024

In March 2025, we achieved ISO accreditation, confirming that our processes meet recognised international standards. It strengthens confidence in how we deliver work by demonstrating a consistent, well-managed approach to quality, compliance, and continual improvement across the business.

March 2025

In July 2025, we became an ICP (Independent Connection Provider), which means we can deliver electrical connections in-house rather than relying solely on third parties. It gives us greater control over programme, quality, and safety on site, and helps us move faster and more reliably as we scale delivery across more projects.

July 2025

In January 2026, we expanded our team to support the pace of growth across the business. As demand increased and our projects scaled, we invested in more people and capability to strengthen delivery and continue building for the long term.
